Kaitlyn Julian joined The Fine Art Group in 2019 as a Generalist Appraiser, with expertise valuing fine arts, decorative arts and antiques. In her role, Kaitlyn travels throughout the United States and Europe, visiting with clients and appraising their collections.
Kaitlyn is a graduate of the University of Glasgow, Scotland and holds a Master’s degree in Technical Art History, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Art History from Marymount Manhattan College in New York City. Kaitlyn began her career as a research assistant with the Glasgow School of Art, assisting with the restoration of the school’s celebrated Mackintosh Building. Before joining The Fine Art Group, Kaitlyn worked for two years as an apprentice at Pook & Pook, Inc., a leading auction house for Early American furniture and folk art where she acquired extensive art market experience. She is compliant with the Uniform Standard of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) and a graduate of the Comprehensive Appraisal Studies Program from the Appraisers Association of America.
