Since 1997, Edward Schneider has been active as an independent Corporate Finance Advisor, specializing in cross-border transactions in Europe and acting for large public and private groups including Accor, Celesio, Koppers and CWT. He has advised The Fine Art Group on the structuring of several art investment funds since 2000.
Before becoming independent, he was a Director of Samuel Montagu (now HSBC Investment Banking) in the International Advisory Department where he advised major corporations on international transactions and their financing. Before that, he headed international corporate finance for Henry Ansbacher (now part of Groupe Bruxelles Lambert), controlled by Baron Frère, who he joined in 1983. Edward is a graduate of the Solvay Business School at the University of Brussels. He was also a part-time Lecturer and Assistant Professor at the University of Brussels.
