Marin Williams is an appraisals professional with experience managing high-value appraisal projects for estates, museums, and private clients nationwide. Prior to joining The Fine Art Group Marin served as an Appraisals Manager and Junior Appraiser at Hindman Appraisals, where she led projects of all scales, from rare single pieces to extensive 500-item collections, addressing client needs such as insurance, damage loss, IRS donation, estate tax, financial planning, and equitable distribution. Marin is USPAP compliant, holds a Graduate Personal Property Appraisals Certification from the National Auctioneers Association, and has taken continuing education courses through the International Society of Appraisers. Prior to joining the appraisals field Marin held positions at the McArthur Foundation, the Smithsonian American Art Museum, and the Phillips Collection. Marin’s professional practice is supported by her dual Master’s degrees in Modern and Contemporary Art History, and Arts Administration and Policy from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Marin’s approach is client-centered and detail-driven, pairing advanced project management skills with a dedication to precise and accurate valuations.
