Maureen Hooft Graafland joined The Fine Art Group as a consultant in October 2021. Based in London, Maureen works with The Group’s global business development team to expand the reach of the company’s services with private client advisors and international art collectors.
Maureen brings over thirty years of client management experience in the art industry, having spent twenty years at Sotheby’s in strategic and senior client management roles, most recently as Head of the Fiduciary Client Group in Europe. Prior to Sotheby’s, Maureen spent twelve years in investment banking at JP Morgan in New York and London.
Maureen holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History of Art and German from Smith College, Massachusetts, USA. She is also a qualified Non-Executive Director and holds a Financial Times post-graduate diploma. Maureen is a board member of African Parks UK.
