
Domenico De Sole joined The Fine Art Group’s Supervisory Board in 2024 and became part of the Chairman’s Office in 2025. He previously served as President of Gucci America beginning in 1986, and later as President and CEO of Gucci Group NV from 1994 to 2004. Under his leadership, Gucci transformed into a global luxury powerhouse, acquiring major brands including Yves Saint Laurent, Bottega Veneta, and Alexander McQueen. In 2005, Domenico co-founded Tom Ford International, where he served as Chairman until its acquisition by Estée Lauder in 2023. He also served as Chairman of the Board at Sotheby’s from 2015 until its sale in 2019. Domenico currently serves on the boards of Pirelli, Zegna S.p.A., Thom Browne, and the American Academy in Rome. He has previously held board roles with Procter & Gamble, Delta Airlines, Gap Inc., Bausch & Lomb, Condé Nast, and Telecom Italia. He also sits on the Dean’s Advisory Board at Harvard Law School.
