Pauline Haon brings a decade of expertise to The Fine Art Group, joining them in March 2024 as Director, Benelux, and International Post-War & Contemporary Art Specialist. Based in Brussels, Pauline previously held the position of Director and Senior Specialist for 20th/21st Century Art at Christie’s.
During her tenure at Christie’s, Pauline played a pivotal role in leading the 20/21 business within Europe. Her dedication resulted in exceptional outcomes for historically significant collections like Matthys-Colle, Corbiau, and Le Jeune. Besides being a champion for International Post-War & Contemporary Art, she is a passionate advocate of Belgian Modern and Post-War Art. As such, she spearheaded efforts that broke auction records for renowned Belgian artists such as Rene Magritte, Luc Tuymans, Pierre Alechinsky, James Ensor, Leon Spilliaert, Walter Leblanc, Michael Borremans, and Marcel Broodthaers. Beyond the art market, Pauline boasts extensive experience as a charity auctioneer. Over the past five years, she has conducted over 30 auctions for esteemed institutions like La Nuit du Bien Commun, the Belgian Royal Opera, Museum Dhondt-Dhaenens, and Bozar.
