Robin Woodhead as Chairman of the David Rattray Memorial Trust, a UK charity supporting education in South Africa, and as a Trustee of The African Arts Trust, supporting emerging artists across the continent. Robin spent 22 years at Sotheby’s in senior leadership roles, including Chief Executive of Sotheby’s Europe and Asia, Chief Executive of Sotheby’s International, and Chairman. Prior to Sotheby’s, he served as Chief Executive of the London Commodity Exchange, one of the UK’s major financial trading institutions. He has held board roles across cultural and business organizations and served as a Governor of the Southbank Centre in London. Robin was educated at the University College of Rhodesia and Nyasaland (now the University of Zimbabwe), forming the foundation of a distinguished international career in the arts and finance.
